The LEAP Online Modules for Curriculum Design employ a proven learning structure that will guide and support you through developing and assessing the curriculum you use with high-ability learners. Each self-paced module includes readings, videos, unique application activities, PLC guides, and other resources curated by developers Christine Weber and Emily Mofield.

An Introductory Look at the Features of Curriculum for Gifted Learners
This self-study module is part of NAGC's 5-module professional learning series on differentiated instruction. The basis for the series is the LEAP professional learning framework: Lead (with) Effective (and) Actionable Practice.
Upon successful completion of this module, you will be able to:
- Identify how gifted curriculum is different from the general curriculum.
- Describe how the talent development framework and principles of individual differences guide curriculum design for gifted students.
- Identify how the features of high-quality gifted curriculum are responsive and relevant to the needs of gifted students.
- Use the NAGC Programming Standards to select and adapt evidence-based practices for gifted students.
